Summer Trend: Bardot Style

One of my favorite trends this season is most definitely the Bardot style. Elegant, feminine and flirty, this off the shoulder trend has made a big come back this Spring / Summer. The off the shoulder neck line was made famous by french actress Brigitte Bardot in the 1950's.

TREND: How to Wear your Scarf this Season

How to wear your scarf this season to be on Trend...

 One of the biggest trends for this Season is the return of the Cape/Poncho or simply wearing an over-sized scarf as a cape. This trend has been seen on the catwalk by designers such as Burberry, Salvatore Ferragamo and Valentino to name but a few.

Celebrities have already taken a liking to this trend, such as Olivia Palermo, Cara Delevingne, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Fashion Blogger Kristina Bazan.

Cape's are back in force however the newest, most trend savvy way of creating the look this season is to wear an over-sized scarf draped around your body or nipped into a belt at the waste to create a whole new look.

Behind the Scenes...Photoshoot

Hi Dolls,

Yesterday some of my designs were featured in a photo-shoot taking place in Dublin City Centre. The theme of the photo shoot was Avant-Garde, high fashion. I am so excited that I got to be a part of it! Unfortunately I was unable to attend the photo shoot as I had to work however my friend, Avryl (who was the make-up artist and stylist on the shoot) offered to take some behind the scenes pics for me to share with you all on SassieDoll. The professional pics that I have seen so far are GORGEOUS and I cannot wait to be able to share them too, but for now here are a few sneaky BTS pics...Enjoy xXx
