Sun, Sea, Sand...Spain

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my first post in my new 'Lifestyle' section of SassieDoll where I will be posting a bit more about my personal life, personal style and general 'Lifestyle' topics! Hope you enjoy it :)

As most of you who follow me probably know I was on my holidays last week in Puerto Banus, Spain.
I had the most relaxing week, it was so nice to get away for a bit!
Myself and boyfriend spent a night in Madrid (he supports Real Madrid so we went to a football match) and then we flew directly from Madrid to Malaga the following morning! I love Madrid, the fountains and parks are gorgeous and the weather was Amazing! It was our 3rd time there within the last year! And our hotel had a Gorgeous rooftop terrace!

  Having a bit of lunch in Retiro Park, Madrid. (I obviously wasn't sticking to my diet that day!) :/ 

Then onto Puerto Banus, well what can I say...Yachts, Designer Shops, Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Boob Jobs, Lip fillers, you name it, you'll find it in Puerto Banus! I loved every minute of it! The port is Gorgeous, enjoying a drink or meal looking out over the yachts! And not to mention the people watching is quite entertaining! We saw a yacht one day called 'This Time Next Year' so that was our motto for the Holiday! :)

Our hotel was the Senator Banus 5* Hotel which was Gorgeous!!! It was a little bit outside of any towns but only 5 mins in a taxi and we got a great deal! There was 2 gorgeous pools, our room was like a suite and we got Champagne for breakfast...Perfect! :)

 (Below) For anyone that's interested my make-up of choice for my holiday was BareMinerals new BareSkin foundation in colour 9. It also contains SPF which was perfect, you can read my full review on this foundation HERE! I was also wearing individual eyelashes that my sister applied for me the night before hols.

FASHION: Top 10 High-Street Swimsuits

This post is for those of you who don't like to wear bikinis or separates by the pool. Or even if you are just looking for a trendy one piece to wear to a pool party on hols.
A friend of mine recently asked me where would she find a nice one piece swimsuit for her holidays in Marbella as she is not that fond of bikinis so I decided to do a bit of research and do a post on what I found because once June is over and the summer sales are in full swing it can be hard to find nice beachwear/ swimwear as most of the good stuff is already snapped up and the Autumn/Winter stock is already starting to make a comeback :( So here is the best of what I found currently available on the High-Street from River Island, New Look, Boohoo, Miss-guided, Next and Forever 21...

I Love this one piece from River Island. The floral print is perfect for the season and on trend. The built in cups and black mesh waistband really help accentuate your best bits and slim your waist down. It also comes with straps if you like some extra support. Team this with some white wedges and big retro black sunglasses and your all set! And a chunky necklace would also help complete the outfit if you went for the strapless look. This orange shirred plunge swimsuit is an Online Exclusive currently available on River Island's website for €40. I think with a tan and styled up with some wedges and a straw sun hat it could look great at a beach/pool party on your holidays! Check it out on River Island's website HERE!

If you are looking for a cut-out one piece and something a bit sexier then check out this gorgeous monochrome swimsuit that was featured in ELLE for only €30 from Boohoo.com! Shop it HERE!

Here is another one from Boohoo, this simple and sexy all black cut-out. Again this one is only €30! Available HERE!

Missguided.com currently have quite a good range of Swimwear still available on their site. Here is a sexy white number with side cut-outs and a plunging neckline for those of you daring enough to wear white on the beach. It is €32.49 available HERE!

Here's another daring and sexy asymmetric one-piece from missguided if you really wanna stand out at the pool! Available HERE!

If you like printed swimwear then this one could be for you. This cut-out, halterneck palm leaf printed swimsuit is from NEXT and is €34. Available HERE!

This next swimsuit is a bit more cute and girly and is by Kelly Brook for NEW LOOK. If you like something a bit more covered up than the one pieces above yet still like to be on trend and stand out then this cute polka dot number is for you. It also has a slight cut out at the back without being too revealing. It is only €29.99  Available HERE!
