Zooey Deschanel Collection with Tommy Hilfiger

I am such a big fan of both Zooey Deschanel and New Girl! Both her character in New Girl and her personality in real life are cute, witty and funny and not to mention her individual and girly sense of style. So I was really excited to hear that Zooey (or 'Jess' in her hit TV show) has collaborated with Tommy Hilfiger to design a small collection of preppy, girly, summer dresses which will be sold in Macy's and on the Tommy Hilfiger website from April 2014.

The collection is said to be comprised of 16 'Sixties inspired short dresses' with 'interesting detail' and 'Flirty fabrics' according to Tommy Hilfiger himself in WWD.
The dresses are priced from $98 to $199 and are said to be very like the style of sixties fashion icons Jean Shrimpton and Twiggy.

BEAUTY BARGAIN OF THE WEEK: NYC Nail Polish

Hi Dolls,

This weeks 'Beauty Bargain' is NYC nail polish. In particular, this color that I picked up the other day called 'Spring Tulip'. It is a perfect color for Spring/Summer. A nice bright Coral with a pinkish under tone which gives it a bright girly appeal for the summer.
These pictures don't show the color off to it's full potential but it really is a gorgeous shade of Coral. It is also perfect at this time of year teamed with darker clothing to add a pop of color, as seen in the picture below.

I love NYC nail varnish because there is a great variety of strong colors and once you apply a base coat, two layers of the color and a top coat to finish it off (I do this with ALL nail polishes no matter what the brand) then it lasts as good as any other expensive labels.

And the best part is, the NYC nail polishes are an Amazing ONLY €1.59 in Penneys. So you can pick up one of every color for each season and it will still be cheaper than some high end brands would charge for just one single nail varnish. BARGAIN!!! :)
